Terek Grozny welcome Rubin Kazan in one of the most exciting games in Round 17 of the Russian Premier League. This is the first game from the second part of the season and the teams will be careful when they go out on Friday evening. Terek Grozny did not start the season in the best possible way but they have been in quite a good form in recent weeks. Rubin Kazan are currently sitting in 4th place in the championship and they are seven points away from leaders CSKA Moscow so they should start winning away from home. Rubin had a tough game against Ural last weekend in the Russian Cup and had to play extra time to sneak past their opponents in the next round. Rubin have only lost once in their last twelve games in all competitions (5-6-1) but the amount of draws has hindered them from further climbing up the table. Rubin have also drawn three of their last four visits in the league.
Moreover, two of the last three games between these two sides in the championship finished without a winner so the statistics also speaks in favour of the “X”.
